Everything East Hartford
I’ve been exploring and writing about Connecticut since 2006. After a decade, I began compiling CTMQ guides for each town in the state. I plan on “completing” East Hartford CTMQ-style… as well as the other 168 towns, cities, and boroughs in Connecticut. That is the ultimate goal of CTMQ.
If I’ve missed anything in town or if anything has closed or changed, please let me know.

East Hartford: Complete!
I “completed” East Hartford in 2019 but new and/or previously unknown-to-me CTMQ-worthy places and things open all the time, so a town is never really “complete.” I will, of course, continue to visit and write about these new places and things.

December 13, 2021 at 11:04 pmThe Selden Brewer House is the home of the Historical Society of East Hartford.
The Raymond Library has an excellent collection. I donated a 1928 photo I found in a trunk in Hartford that was an early panoramic photo of all the employees of of the large RR service and switch yard in town. Talk to Jason.
The Dudley Fox house is still there and the barn in back was the location of his silversmith shop, one of two in town. Naubuc Ave, where there is an octagonal house.
