Waimea Canyon

I really like these pictures because they often surprise people who aren’t familiar with Waimea. Even people who have been to Honolulu and/or Maui sometimes disbelieve this can be Hawaii. But it is – and it’s beautiful. I’ve been to the Grand Canyon and while it is more “grand,” this place is right up there.
Again, it saddens me how poorly I dressed on my honeymoon.
