East Haddam’s Town Trails
Audubon property, Nature Conservancy property, land trust property, multiple state parks, a state wildlife management area, and heck, even a random Eight Mile River Wild & Scenic Watershed property… all in East Haddam on the Connecticut River. There couldn’t possibly be any room left for any other trails, could there be?
Why yes. Yes there is. In fact, there are tons of town-owned trails in East Haddam. I know, right? I was shocked to find this out as well. But now we know better and now we have a lot of hiking to do in the town that Goodspeed built. (He didn’t really, I just made that up.)
