Mansfield’s Town Trails
Hellooooo Mansfield! I used to live in you! Many different parts of you, actually. I lived in your Jungle at UConn – Middlesex 4th Represent! And I lived in an assortment of random off-campus dwellings during the summers of my UConn experience. I have shopped in your woefully outdated and outmoded shopping area (ca. early 1990’s) and I met many of my best friends within your borders.
I’ve cycled all over you – UConn Men’s Cycling Team ca. early 1990’s represent! – and I’ve done a few things of which I’m not so proud here and there around your acreage.
But you know what, Mansfield? I’ve not really done much hiking in you. Sure, I have poked around here and there, but imagine my delight today when I clicked on your Parks and Rec page and found an excellent resource for hiking all around you. You may be small and largely forgotten, thanks to that Storrs behemoth part of you, but holy cow, someone there cares about serving the public’s hiking needs! Even if I’m only talking about me.
