Another tough one. The Milford Land Conservation Trust has done a great job securing parcels of land all over town. And when it comes to Milford, a lot of that land is marshland. Unhikeable and mostly unkayakable. So cross them off the list.

Then most of their other properties are untrailed tiny parcels scattered about here and there. Which is a good thing – better protected greenspace than another house or store. I had almost lost hope that I could get any MLCT hiking in down there, until I began reading about each and every property. It appears that at least two have or will have or hope to have a trail or two someday. And here they are…
