Southbury has a trove of trailed lands, but it was also hard hit by a 2018 tornado. In fact, the land trusts trails were all closed for a while as the blowdowns made the trails dangerous and at times, impassable. But by the time you read this, you’ll likely be able to get hiking in Southbury again.

I don’t usually post logos, but c’mon. This one is so… so unique, I felt I had to. Shout out to the Southbury Land Trust for doing their own thing. And also for putting up all your trail maps online. I can’t tell y’all how much that is appreciated in my little corner of the world!
