Windsor’s Town Trails
Windsor is home to one of the state’s worst state parks as well as one of the state’s coolest state scenic reserve area things. So it’s sort of interesting that town’s shining outdoorsy star is the unheralded Northwest Park.
There are something like 13 miles of trail there and several of them lead to really interesting places within the sprawling woods and fields of the park. Northwest Park is cool. The town also purchased the former Tradition Golf Club and is maintaining it as open, hikeable space called Mill Brook. Which is awesome.
